Way to make page numbers in categories 'static'?

Hey Everyone,

I’m trying to find out if there is a plugin or option that makes it so my page numbers are static… It’s a bit difficult to explain but what I am looking for is that my oldest page would be “1”, instead of the newest being “1”. I want my homepage to still show the newest posts but due to the way the site is setup now search engines have a hard time linking to the proper category page. Google will index a post on page 30 then I’ll add several new posts so the page that previously indexed post is on will now be page 31. Therefore the search engine will point to the incorrect category page…

My Site AdWhois.com has 57 pages at the moment. I want it to be that instead of my oldest post constantly increasing its page number, that the newest posts would get placed on page 57, 58, 59, etc, etc… It seems like a simple thing and I’m honestly not sure why WordPress isn’t setup like this to begin with (it would make wordpress sites much more SE friendly).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
