Way around Yahoo’s Customizable Permalinks plugin?

  • Is there a way around Yahoo’s Customizable Permalinks plugin? I would like my permalinks to be date/name but when I activate the plug-in to make the permalink customizable it adds an extra line at the start of the feed code causing the feed to break.

    Is there another plug-in or some other way to customize permalinks with Yahoo web hosting, or do I have to sacrifice the pretty permalink for the RSS feed (which would be bad).

  • Just install an ftp client on your machine like cuteftp (that’s what I use) Then ftp to you plugins folder and delete teh yahoo permalinks crap.

    Then login to your admin panel of WP and re-set your permalinks to default. Close your browser and log back in or just refresh your page then click on the permalinks tab and customize it that way.

    The key is to delete the dmmed yahoo plugin and the game’s over…. Your website 1 – Yahoo permalinks 0
