Waveforms not appearing in “playlist”

Did you update to v2.5.1 ?

Works fine here : WaveSurfer-WP — My New Audio Controller with Multiple Channels Waveform Preview Plugin for WordPress / ExtremRaym.

According to chrome
XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://davidcarbonaramusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/09-Find-Sheriff.mp3. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://davidcarbonara.com' is therefore not allowed access.

There is a conflict with server configuration, (maybe check the F.A.Q.), especially if you use a CDN.

Your two files (first from the playlist and the mono mp3) are not load from the same server:

1. https://davidcarbonara.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/10-Cota-Gets-Booked.mp3
2. https://davidcarbonaramusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/10-Cota-Gets-Booked.mp3

You may also consider using only the “working” server (aka your local server).

Interesting…. we switched the domain name to davidcarbonara.com from davidcarbonaramusic.com so I’m not sure why it’s trying to reach the old domain…. I’ve even done a search-replace in the database, and the WaveSurfer plugin is still writing code like

data-url=”https://davidcarbonaramusic.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/01-The-Arrival.mp3″

When I disable the plugin, the playlist uses the correct domain name.

Is there a cache somewhere??

Not from WaveSurfer-Side.

In playlist, the URL is given from the ID of the media attachment.

I suppose you have to make deeper search/replace in the database.

Aha! You’re right, the search/replace plugin I was using wasn’t looking at the GUID which didn’t get replaced. Thank you for your help!
