    Oh yes,
    This happen because your file is so long that it took a lot of time to decode the waveform. Indeed, actually, the waveform is decoded only when all the audio is loaded. Nothing abnormal.

    To solve this problem, I am developing a premium addon that would be able to save / load peaks files. This will solve this issue and make the waveform appear in few times.

    I let you know when it came out !

    With its cache feature, long audio file peaks should be able to load very quickly.
