    Hi,

In the Main Setup tab under wordpress plugin for IBM Watson, it’s asking for a username password and workspace URL… however in the IBM Watson Assistant Deploy page it’s only showing me the Workspace name and Workspace ID…

Iv’e tried to find the workspace URL everywhere and I can’t find it.

    Need help asap please.

    Regards.

  • I think the username is the Workspace ID, but for the life of me I can’t find the password. The course videos are now too out of date I guess…

    Did you figure this out?

Ok got it – have to change cloud instance from Sydney to US South. When using Sydney, the credentials page was totally different.

Hello, I have no problem to find the right credentials, but the plugin do not want to accept them. I get the message “Please enter a Workspace URL.”, but I sure to put the correct URL in the field. I would be happy to get any hint to solve my issue. Thanks in advance

I have the same problem. I only get the message “Please enter a Workspace URL” as if the field has been left empty. I think it should say “Please enter a valid Workspace URL” when the URL is not correct. This seems like a bug?

I downloaded version 0.7.1 and it seems to work with the same credentials. Version 0.7.2 had the same problem as the latest 0.7.3.

    Hello
When setting up my chatbot and specifying the Assistant URL, username and password for my Watson Assistant and do the copy&paste from the Credentials, I get the error:

“Unable to determine endpoint URL version. Please ensure you entered valid Assistant URL (v2) or Workspace URL (v1)” over and over.

I have been reading that some people are having the same problem, but I have not found the solution to my problem on their replies.

    Please help!

@rebashabi, please upgrade your plug-in to the latest version (0.8.2 for now). Make sure you are using Watson Assistant API *v2* URL (Assistant URL in the dashboard). Please let us know if you still have issues after upgrade.

Hello, I’m sorry, I’m new on upgrading or updating plugins. Could you give me some light on updating WordPress into 0.8.2?
The screen on my Skills Details shows: Legacy v1 Workspace URL:https://gateway.watsonplatform.net/assistant/api/v1/workspaces/d40df6a5-7420-4dbc-83e2-d42e5ba0eb91/message
…and I have no clue how to fix it to (v2)
    Please help!

    Hello @rebashabi.
To get some grip on updating your WordPress installation and plugins,
    please address this manual: https://www.sitepoint.com/a-guide-to-updating-wordpress/

To get API v2 URL you need to visit your IBM Watson Assistant Dashboard and open Assistants section:

Next, if you have not created an Assistant yet, click “Create new” button.
Give it a name, and Add Dialog Skill on the next screen.

When you have Assistant (with attached dialog skill) you can view its credentials by clicking “View API Details” link:

Here is an example result (note the fields you need to copy to WordPress plugin settings):
