Watermarking images

I think I’ve mentioned a few times that this would make a fantastic plugin:

did anyone make a plugin for wordpress 2.0 using this? I would like to watermark the images that I upload for posts.

I use the watermark feature in Gallery2.

There were several photo gallery apps included in my cPanel/Fantastico — I chose Gallery2 partly for its watermark feature!
