• Dear Easy Watermark team,

I am experiencing trouble using the plugin (latest version). After having restored images from the included backup (I need to get rid of previously generated watermarks as requirements changed), the following behavior is experienced:

    – When I open product page, images without watermark are displayed, as expected
. However, when I edit on EDIT IMAGE in wordpress library, watermarked image appears and watermarked image overwrites the restored image if I save any image edit
    – Similar behavior happens when I rename (non-watermarked) pictures, the newly named file is saved with watermark

The bottom line is that WordPress seems to store some cached image with watermark that gets propagated on changes of the image, but I can not identify how to get rid of it. I simply need to get rid of all Watermarking logic and cached images.

    Is this a known issue?
    Can you please help me?

    Thank you

    Hi,

yes, the plugin is going to watermark the image if you perform any action on the image.

The caching seems to be a WordPress or server concern. Simple cache purging should help. Our plugin doesn’t cache any images.

Do I understand correctly you’d like to exclude particular images, so our plugin ignores them and does not apply any watermark?
