    Hi

    I have watermarked 270 images in a gallery, this doesn’t show on the thumbnails but shows on images in the lightbox

    How can i fix this?

    1) If you have a caching plugin installed, purge all site cache
    2) Under Gallery > Other Options > Misc, clear image cache
    3) Clear browser cache and check again.

    If you do not see the watermark show up on thumbnails, you need to recreate them under Gallery > Manage Galleries > under ‘bulk actions’ select ‘create new thumbnails’ and run that tool.

    Hi Gaby

    I have cleared all cache and regenerated thumbnails

    Now i have half the thumbnails with a watermark and half without

    How can i fix this?

    Do you have those thumbnails in separated galleries?
    You might need to regenerate those thumbnails in each gallery.
    Have you tried to test your site with another browser?

    If you keep having issues we would like to take a look at your site.

    Hi Gaby

    No, its a single gallery containing 279 images

    I have tested on three separate browsers and two separate computers, the result is the same

    Half of the thumbnails have a watermark and half don’t

    Watermarking on Nextgen Gallery has always been a bit hit and miss

    This happens continually, the results are the same on two different WP installations

    Should i try and rebuild thumbnails again?

    Hi @snapper65,

    I think that @gabyimagely may have missed the part that from your question where you’ve mentioned that you can’t apply the watermark for the thumbnails only.

    It looks like everything works as it should in your case. NextGen Gallery will actually apply the watermark for the lightbox images only.

    I think you will find that Gaby is correct

    Nextgen gallery applies watermark to Basic Thumbnail Gallery and Lightbox

    I have now rebuilt the thumbnails once more and now the watermark appears on all thumbnails

    I have been using nextgen since 2013 and it has always worked this way

    I can send you a screenshot if you wish or try it for your self

    Its a shame that it takes so long to apply a watermark to multiple images and some time it works well and other times it doesn’t

    Hi Mihai

    There has always been thumbnails with Nextgen watermark in Nextgen Back end “Manage Galleries” and in “Basic Thumbnail Gallery”

    This has been this way on multiple sites, various servers and various word press installations

    These where not displaying on all thumbnails, until i regenerated the thumbnails three time, after bulk adding of my watermark

    Some users will rather see the watermark in their thumbnails, other ones not so much. Currently, it’s a little bit tricky, as I have already explained.
