Hello, Just paid for and installed the premium version that allows watermarking with an image. It did great with existing posts, but after creating the first new one I’ve come up with a problem. When an image is uploaded it adds a watermark, then if I need to rotate the image it adds a second watermark once rotated without removing the first. I tried clicking the checkbox to exclude from watermark for this image before rotating, and now have it checked on the final rotated image, and yet there are two watermarks. Hi there,

Apologies for the belated reply, if you need support on the premium product please contact me directly at https://8mediacentral.com/developments/contact/, more than happy to refund your purchase if it’s not working for you, but you need to let me know so I can help.

In the meantime here are some things to check if other users have this problem:
    1. Ensure your image it ‘attached’ to a posts
    2. Ensure your permalinks are set
    3. Go over the documentation (https://8mediacentral.com/developments/wp-image-protect-watermark-wordpress-images-plugin/documentation/)

    All the best,

    Richard

    Richard,

While I do appreciate the reply it was hardly helpful, and the issue is definitely not resolved as you’ve marked it. In direct response to your thoughts above:

    1. Not sure what you’re trying to say here, the image is in a post as evident from the link I provided.
    2. Again not really sure what you’re trying to say, I am using permalinks.
    3. Just attempted to go look at the documentation (really is it going to tell me something other than check the box that doesn’t work?) and your site is down so no documentation….

    Hi there,

Thanks for the feedback. There’s no technical reason why two watermarks are being applied on rotation, that’s a new one on me. Did you save the image with the watermark, then re-upload it or maybe is it being cached somewhere?

Apologies the site was down, I actually wanted to remove the premium download link so I can fully investigate the route of the issues, fully patch and test it, before releasing it again. The docs are back up again now.

    All the best,

    Richard

PS. If you contact me through the site, I can arrange additional support and a refund for you.
