    Hi all

    I would like to ask you WATCH OUT with updates
    We use it here in a multisite instalattion and you are updating the plugin almost everyday.
    Everytime we update the plugin it delete de language file, that′s bad, but we can upload it again, altough we have to upload almost everyday.
    The WORST AND MOST WORRIED thing is about the users roles, the update deleted the users configurations, could you imagine everyone calling you, telling they can′t acess their panels?
    We where VERY WORRIED about this, if you could do something about will help us a LOT

    Hi @djcelo,

    Can you please clarify what version of the plugin you’ve had prior to this the update?
    What “user configuration” are you referring to, do you mean user roles?
    The correct path for the language files is your server /wp-content/languages/plugins.

    Installed Ultimate Member v 2.0.24 three days back, configured it and it worked fine.

    Yesterday it said update to new version 2.0.25 and so I ran the update which failed several times. WordPress latest version and all updates applied.

    Last night I tried the update again and it said “…takes time have patience…” so I left it running for the night.

    This morning the plugin doesn’t show up in the dashboard, it looks like it deleted the plugin, although the folder is in the plugin folder with only the “assets” folder. Obviously the login and other features are not working.

    Should I now try to reinstall the new version 2.0.25, will this problem happen again?

    I was wanting to also subscribe to get the bbPress and another feature but at this point I am not sure of reliability.

    Environment: Godaddy windows hosting with php and mysql.

    Operator: Me and consider myself computer literate with some level of programming knowledge but not an expert or fluent in any language ??

    Hi @vin786,

    Can you please download and then re-upload the latest version of the Ultimate member to your plugins/ultimatemember folder and try to activate the plugin.

    So here is what I did;
    a) Downloaded the new version
    b) Uploaded the zip file to the server
    c) Extracted files on the server to the existing ultimate member folder
    d) Activated the Plugin

    What was result?;
    a) It activated fine without a problem
    b) It created three default forms for login, profile and registration
    c) Most of the plugin settings were fine, a few had been lost and I fixed those
    d) The pages started working fine, there maybe a problem with the member directory permissions because I have that set to loggedin users but it still shows after a user logs out, I will check more on it later.

    Right now I am going to play some more with the plugin settings and page shortcodes, and see how it performs, hopefully it does not break again during the next upgrade.
