The Modula database is not upgraded automatically, I really don’t know why. Also I had to do some few fixes on settings to accept the custom CSS back. Besides of that is an amazing plugin.

@ppribeiro – really sorry about this. We debated internally about automatically migrating users to the 2.0 DB version, however, it was not a great idea after all.

The upgrading process uses AJAX and for people with a TON of galleries (think 500 and more), it would have certainly crashed, especially on plugin_update hook.

The way we considered doing it was, to give the user the possibility of deciding if he/she wants to actually upgrade to the v2.0 database.

I’m sorry you didn’t write to us, since none of your v1.x galleries were actually removed. The old DB is still there, V2.x just copies over the old galleries and updates them into a new DB entry.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. I really appreciate your review.

Sorry we didn’t do better and we’ll try harder for the next iteration ??

    /Cristian.

My first review was too harsh, so I edited it to a more realistic review.
Thanks Cristian, it’s an amazing plugin, just be careful because people upgrade plugins while websites are online, trusting you guys still doing amazing work.

Thanks and sorry for harsh words earlier.

@ppribeiro – you can’t even imagine how many sleepless nights we had when we migrated users to v2.0 ?? We stressed so much exactly over this upgrading process, that we ended up working more on the upgrade procedures than on anything else.

Long story short, it does work properly, it’s just not ideally “advertised” and sometimes, with themes & plugins taking over all the notifications in the backend, it’s really hard to notice ours. There’s also themes/plugins that overwrite the default notification styles making them even harder to be spotted.

It means a lot to us that you were so kind to update your review.

    THANK YOU @ppribeiro !

    /Cristian.
