• This plugin may be good. This plugin may probably save a lot of time. However in my case it was not so nice. Here is why.

After installing and adding the widget to my faithfully customized website I went to documentation page ( exactly here ) on how to set things right.

And, of course, undoubtledly there was a warning about that one may loose access to the admin area if things won’t get properly set.

Unfortunately. If you don’t save, you won’t be able to check if it works. If you save and check if it works and.. it doesn’t work – you are swamped.

Since I lost the ability to login and since, yes, I am a WordPress newbie, and since, yes, I did not prepare my WP backup properly in case of need to “go back in time” – it simply does not matter in one case.

The Developer, who, indeed, warned the users about the possible obstacle – did not put any (at least I didn’t find any, and believe me – I really wanted to find it) info about WHAT IF one accidentally messes WP Admin login area and how to roll things back.

Dear Developers of WP User Control, I think all users are grateful (I also give it 5 stars nevermind what happened ) for your efforts in managing to make a useful plugin.

In the name of all newbies that would sooner or later come to your plugin site – please make a supplement to your step by step guide on how to set things right, including HOW TO fix in case of loosing Admin area access. Disabling other plugins is not a solution if one cannot access WP admin area anymore.

    Regards from newbie
