I’m going out of my way to respond as clearly you need help. If I was trying to upload the exported file using another developer’s plug-in I would not have left -ve feedback. ..But what infuriated me was that I was using an identical plug-in and using an exported file that had not been modified in any way. IT SHOULD WORK!!

I was looking for a solution. Not a problem. I don’t have time to spend debugging your plug-in. Within 3 minutes I downloaded another plug-in and completed my user migration successfully. That’s less time then I would have spent writing an email explaining my issue. I did you a favour leaving -ve feedback. For every one person, ‘angry’ enough to leave feedback another 99 walked away silently. You’re losing sales… …make sure your plug-in works.

FYI, the error message was something to do with an invalid ID.

I do not understand “you are losing sales”, this is free software. You have payed for it? Where?

This is a more complex plugin with much more functionalities than other and you have to do some work after export.

I will include an option to exclude user_ids or any other ids that can create any kind of conflict.

Hope your users ask you before sending reviews like it.

I will try to include the option as soon as possible to prevent problems like this.

Yes, the plugin is free. However, the visitors’ whos time you wasted will definitely NOT be donating via your plugins Donate link, and visiting your plugins shop link to buy more amazing plug-ins, I bet they laugh when they see the plugins “hire an expert” link.

Yes, Javier all of them just uninstalled your plugin and used competitors one instead. I’m the only person actually trying to help you out.

The common wisdom is: If you have a good experience, you tell 10 people; a bad one, you tell 100 (verbally or by a written review)

For all of the 134+ people (as of now) who were satisfied enough to write a five-star review, there are 40,000 people with active installations who seem to be keeping quiet.

So, after reading all the negative reviews and with a pre-installation ondemand site backup created just in case, I decided to give it a shot.

Worked perfectly for me. Glad I risked wasting 20 minutes of my life for a free plugin from an author who seems genuinely willing to offer support and resolve any issues if needed.. also for free.
