• I got my worst experience with this plugin in 2 years of wordpress development. There is no info given about its working. Couldn’t find out which shortcode I need to enter. Read whole description on plugin page and documentation is total confusing. Worst documentation ever. Who was the great person who made this documentation… This guy don’t have any sense of describing info regarding plugin on plugin page. All info shown plugin page is useless. He told only waste and kept hidden needed info. Don’t waste your time on this stupid plugin. Go and find other plugin whose author has atleast sense of showing info of plugin.

  • Hi, @rish30990.

Thank you for your candid feedback. We know it’s frustrating to get excited about a new plugin that seems like it would be a great, free solution… just to have it be difficult to get started or even accomplish what you wanted to do with it.

We never mean to cause you or any other user frustration, which is why we have a lot of documentation and appreciate constructive feedback to help us improve.

Once The Events Calendar plugin is activated, you can visit wp-admin > Events > Help (screenshot: https://cl.ly/332l0q1i2T3D) to access our New User Primer (i.e. how to get started) and other help articles.

Specific to shortcodes, our free The Events Calendar plugin includes several widgets but our paid Events Calendar PRO add-on enables several shortcodes and adds several additional features to the free widgets as well as adding new widgets. Depending on what other functionality you’re looking for, it might be available in one of our other paid add-ons.

Please review the information in the Help page of our plugin and then let me know if there’s still confusion or frustration getting things setup for how you’re wanting to use it.

    Thanks! ??
