• Hi all.

So I was hacked and ended up fixing things very late last night. All looks well and fixed. Just hardening things up etc.

Only problem is that I actually went through the installation process including database setup (I realize now that I didn’t need to do that), and didn’t realize that my original content used a different prefix than the default wp_.

So now, within my single database, I have two sets of data, the set that has wp_ (and doesn’t include any of the original content) and the set that includes my own prefix (let’s say it is blah_).

What is the easiest way to fix this? I have some experience with phpmyadmin, although I’d love an easier option if possible.

    Thanks

  • BulletProof Security is the plugin I have used to change table_prefixes, and it does that perfectly in a matter of seconds after first showing you exactly where it will be making the changes.
