• I loved the plugin before they forced the “smart” optimisation for all images, so I’m not able to decide now how I want to optimise the images on my own. The “smart” optimisation completely damaged all product images in all my 3 online shops.

    Hi @kampg

I have already replied to you on another review message you sent.

Thank you for your feedback and I am really sorry to hear about that experience!

Did you try to use Lossless re-compression for your product images through Media Library(List View)?

I would like to inform you that we are listening to feedback and we will definitely consider re-introducing the Bulk option for Lossless re-compression.

Our developers are on this and we will post the update as soon as possible.

    Best regards,
    Ioanna

What happens if we have 10k+ images. You’re expecting your users to manually go through each image one-by-one to undo your poor “smart” compression?

@wp_media thank you for your reply. No, I didn’t try the re-compression because each of our shops has over 10k product images and there’s no option to re-compression all images in one click. We don’t use Imagify anymore.

I completely agree that forced “smart” compression was a completely counterproductive and impractical business decision that is simply incompatible with everyday work.

    Hello everyone,

Just wanted to thank you once again for your feedback and to let you know that we have released v2.1 of Imagify.

In this version, we have added the option to choose Lossless compression level snd to reoptimize images in the Bulk optimization page.

We would highly appreciate if you give it another try and let us know what you think.

    Best Regards
    Marko
