Was a usefully tool, now ruined

  • What is the point of a email program if you can’t control how to send out emails?

    This plugin used to be able to send out notices to a specified recipient. NOW NO MORE.

    Everything has to be sent out to a group. Can’t send a simple notice out to a new subscriber; they have to be shuffled in with some designated group.

    Just needed the ability to send out a custom notice to specific people. Control.

    This plugin USED to have this ability. BUT IT WAS REMOVED. WHY??????

So am now using this plugin to solve the lack of sending a single message, but doesn't link up with the subscriber list and has to be manually managed.     We removed this feature because it was causing problems and confusion for many users. We believe the new design is much simpler for most users.

    But you are right, this is at the cost of a functionality that was previously available. We are monitoring user feedback and have some different plans to allow sending emails to chosen shortlist of people..

    While I understand this is an important feature for you, do you think its removal is worth giving 1 star review to the plugin? Request you to reconsider your rating.
