Warrning about WOWSlider

  • The following Warnning is displayed in my WordPress management screen.

    WordPress 4.9.8
    PHP 7.1.18

    We are getting the same warning on our WP Dashboard. I found some suggested fixes, one that removes the warning from the Dashboard, but doesn’t fix the underlying issue.

    Another requires multiple file edits to change several bits of code to change the declaration to ($id, $data and $index) instead of ($item), but their code samples are different from what is in our current files so I am hesitant to try them out.

    Anyone have any suggestions?
