    Hi there,

to the devs, I am getting the below errors whilst trying to log in and these are preventing me from progressing to the admin panel. I have manually deleted and re-uploaded all the files from the latest release and the problem still persists.

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/customer/www/gosportmartialarts.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php on line 479

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/customer/www/gosportmartialarts.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordfence/waf/bootstrap.php:479) in /home/customer/www/gosportmartialarts.co.uk/public_html/wp-login.php on line 462

Any idea what is causing this problem?

Hi @tokyomagic, thanks for reaching out!

Sometimes issues such as this are caused by a plugin loading a WordPress file outside of the normal order. It might be Wordfence, in which case it’s important we try to figure out the problem, but it might be another plugin stopping our WAF from loading properly too.

The first thing to try would be disabling all plugins except for Wordfence, which you may have to do by appending “_bak” to your plugin folders if you’re currently unable to access your site due to this error. It may also be appropriate to revert to a default theme such as Twenty Twenty-Two during this time too. If Wordfence works stand-alone, re-enable your other plugins until the problem reoccurs.

If that doesn’t seem to help, can you send a diagnostic report to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Thanks,

    Peter.
