I just installed wordpress and when I am logged in I get these warnings everywhere:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/4/d256259937/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/user.php on line 660

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/4/d256259937/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/class-wp-admin-bar.php on line 167

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/4/d256259937/htdocs/blog/wp-admin/includes/theme.php on line 23

When I try to save something I get this:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /homepages/4/d256259937/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/user.php on line 660

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /homepages/4/d256259937/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/user.php:660) in /homepages/4/d256259937/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 934

What do I need to do?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

Now I can’t even log in this is what I get:

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

It wasn’t the plugins. I was a problem with the database. So I re installed it to a new database.

Hey, I have a group of sites that just started getting this error, What was the problem with the databases? as it wont let me in the wordpress backend to backup the site and re-install on to a new database.

So it actually was a theme problem for me just do what esmi suggested above.

    Hey Russ_mk2

I am having the same issue as you had—seeing those pesky errors. I was seeing the errors on twenty eleven and my theme. When I tried a few things including a whole new reload of WordPress, I was still seeing the same Warning. I am not ruling out some sort of database thing just yet.

Tell me. What made you realize it was a theme issue? and were you seeing the live site admin interface up near the browser chrome? I am not.

    Thanks,

I realized it was a theme error for me when I changed back to the default theme for the latest update of WordPress and the errors went away. If you are still seeing the errors for the default theme make sure the server you are on has the latest version of php and mysql.

Hi ! Thank you for this forum and this topic, here is tha problem I had :

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /path/wp-admin/admin-header.php:8) in /path/wp-admin/post.php on line 569

So, what I didn’t see at the beginning was the fact that the problem is at line #8 of admin-header.php, not line #569 of post.php

Once I got that, I found a little simple space at the end of the file admin-header.php, I cleared it and the error disappeared !!! (2 days spent on this error…)

    Please post a new topic.

Sorry esmi but why would I post a new topic ? I felt on that one when I was looking for a solution for my problem. Then I found the solution so I post a comment linked to this topic giving a clue for people who will have the same pb as me…

why would I post a new topic ?

Because that is how these forums work and because you have been asked to. Or are you running the same 3.2.1 WordPress site (on the same server using the same theme & plugins) that the original poster asked about 6 months ago?
