    it seems my ip is currently wrongly detected as being located in the USA, therefore I cannot only allow backend access to the Netherlands… please advise

    Can you clear the caches in wp-content/upload/ip2location/caches and try again?

    cleared those caches via ftp, but unfortunately it does not help I still get the same error msg

    Can I know the date of your IP2Location database?

    Hi, I can’t reproduce the issue from my side. Can you enable the debug log in the plugin settings? Then check the debug.log generated in wp-content/plugins/ip2location-country-blocker.

    Above ip-address is now correctly linked to NL instead of USA (I checked via the integrated IP lookup tool) and I was able to enable backend settings. Problem solved ??
