• I’ve been setting up a blog making adjustments in the theme design but I decided to try a different theme. Now I’m getting this warning message – the same one many others in the forum have had – but I haven’t even touched the code in the new theme. Could changes that I made in the first theme carry over to the alternate theme? Here is the warning message:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/mkwebcon/public_html/quincycursillo.com/wp-content/themes/less-is-purple-11/less-is-purple-11/functions.php:8) in /home/mkwebcon/public_html/quincycursillo.com/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 331

  • Did you see the error message?
    …wp-content/themes/less-is-purple-11/less-is-purple-11/…

Notice the double folder! Remove one.

I saw where the folders were duplicated so I deleted all the folders and uploaded the theme again. I tried making a post and when I hit the Save button, I got the similar following message.
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/mkwebcon/public_html/quincycursillo.com/wp-content/themes/less-is-purple-11/functions.php:8) in /home/mkwebcon/public_html/quincycursillo.com/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1357

Then there is something wrong with that theme’s functions.php file…

I switched back to the default version and am not getting the warning message any longer so I guess I’ll just scratch this theme and try a different one. Thanks for your help.
