• Hi, since 2 versions, we have a new warning when backpwpup try to save some files on a tar.gz

    https://ibb.co/QrGq6rX

AVERTISSEMENT : Le nom du fichier ? wp-content/plugins/elementor-pro/assets/js/notes/vendors-node_modules_babel_runtime-corejs2_core-js_map_js-node_modules_babel_runtime-corejs2_-bba5c5.js ? est trop long pour être enregistrer correctement dans l’archive TarGz !

It seems to be a problem with elementor pro JS file which have a too long name… no problem before 2 last version of backpwpup..strange.

    Hello @darkstudio
Sorry about the issue you got, due to the tar file name limitation (actually the old tar
specification’s limit) the file name is limited to about 256 chars, this will be fixed in the future BWU version which uses newer Tar format, for now you can use Zip instead.
I hope my answer could help!

    Hi,

we are not sure that zip fil preserve chmod, Tar gzip yes.

We wait 2 major fix from your plugin since 2 month : timeout fix and Tar gzip (file name lenght limit).

    Thanks.
