    Those error messages are coming because WordPress is trying to do an automatic update of the WP files (WP upgrade to 4.1.1 that came out yesterday), but it can’t access WP.org securely for some reason. It may be that your hosting company has set up the server so that it can’t do this when you aren’t logged in– as a security measure.

    Try making this update manually in your WP dashboard.
