Warning : sprintf(): Too few arguments

    Hi,

    I have a warning message when I’m in the dashboard on the preferences of the plugin.
    Here is the message :

    Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /home/clients/fbac7b179989ed7244a4b9867a7eeb46/web/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/admin-views/tribe-options-display.php on line 53

    Wordpress version 4.9.8
    Events calendar version 4.6.23

    What do I need to do ?

    I have the same message.
    It disappears when I switch the language to English in the WP settings (General), but it’s an unwanted setting for me.

    I’m also waiting for a solution.

    Hi Ed,

    I followed the steps, but still have the error message…
    The message appears only on the settings page of the plugin and only when the WordPress is on the French France.

    I’ve tried with all the other languages, even French Canada or Belgium… the error disappear.

    Hi @jumpinsteph,

    This is a translation issue. The original string contains ‘is 100% perfect’ which is translated falsely into French like ‘is 100% perfect’.
    The ‘%’ sign is picked up by sprintf.

    A correction for this translation has already been submitted and is waiting for approval from the French translation approver guy on www.remarpro.com.

    On your installation you can fix this for yourself. A plugin like Loco Translate can help you with managing the translations.
