  • It takes forever to open site pages to edit. And when it finally opens, there’s this warning message above the dashboard page:

    Warning: An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums. (WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in /home/ditempor/public_html/blog/wp-includes/update.php on line 295

    I have contacted my server and they have done what they can. Anybody know how this problem can be resolved?

    Hi,

    We’ve been seeing this error a bit with hosts that run an older version of the cURL library (the SSL certificate data in the older version is unfortunately a little bit outdated and that causes problems when trying to make connections to the outside world).

    You mentioned your host had done some changes, do you know what changes they made? Alternatively could you ask them if they’ve looked into any available updates for the cURL library.
