    Hi,

I am having a problem with my WordPress site. My website loads on every computer except my own. When i remove my .htaccess file the website does work properly however I get a warning on the top of my page and one on the bottom:
    TOP:
    Warning: session_start(): open(/tmp/sess_710da83ee28009b8805a5eeee398a70e, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in /home/leondcy13/domains/backpackdeal.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/maya/maya/inc/yith_wishlist/class.yith-wcwl.php on line 54

    BOTTOM:
Warning: Unknown: open(/tmp/sess_710da83ee28009b8805a5eeee398a70e, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied (13) in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown: Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

When i remove my htaccess file the website doesn’t load and I get a 404 error. I think something is wrong with my .htaccess file. However when I upload a complete new one I still get the error.

It is also not possible for me to login in my backend.

    The website is https://www.backpackdeal.nl.

Can somebody please help me with this problem?

    Kind regards,

    Léon

  • Those errors are referencing server issues. Try asking your hosts about it.

They say that it are script related errors and they don’t give support for that.

    open(/tmp/sess_710da83ee28009b8805a5eeee398a70e, O_RDWR) failed: Permission denied

    That’s a server issue.

    Now i get this error:
    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@backpackdeal.nl and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Do you also know what this means? Because it keeps switching between those errors.

    Thank you

Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Error 500 is too generic to be of any use. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.
