It shouldnt be causing any issues for you though, only the error message when debug mode is on.

I’m wondering if I should bundle Richard’s code into this plugin but I would need to check the legalities around maintaining his IP/copyright.

In the meanwhile though, you should be able to just make this change manually to the plugin (Richard’s plugin – not this one).
