    Hi,

I ran the wordfence scan for the first time in two different websites and I got several warnings “Old WordPress core file not removed during update” in both of them:

    wp-includes/js/tinymce/skins/lightgray/skin.ie7.min.css
    wp-includes/js/tinymce/skins/lightgray/fonts/tinymce-small.json
    wp-includes/js/tinymce/skins/lightgray/fonts/tinymce.json?
    wp-includes/js/tinymce/plugins/media/moxieplayer.swf
    ?wp-includes/js/tinymce/skins/lightgray/fonts/readme.md

Should I delete these files? Or ignore these warnings?

Have someone got these same warnings?

    Thanks.

    M

    Hi @mmazziotti,

We do sometimes see hosting providers that provide managed WordPress hosting leave old WordPress files in place and set permissions so that they can’t be deleted.

Can you ask your hosting provider if that is the case please here and let me know.

    Thank you.
