Warning now requires PHP 5.6+

I noticed that today’s update broke sites using PHP 5.3. Whilst it is noted on the installation page that PHP 5.6 is required, it was not noted in the change log, so may catch some people out.
FYI Error message in your logs will relate to:
PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR

However, can you add the error message in details, include line of problem. Maybe I will change the source, so that it also works in older version again. But php 5.3 is not in my focus, however is it possible to change this quickly with less effort.

This syntax is not usable in php 5.3 and older. I will change this to a static var, so that it should also works.Thanks so much @bueltge for making this backwards compatibility change so that sites still using PHP 5.3 work again with your plugin.
I can confirm that version 1.4.1 works for me on PHPv 5.3.3-7+squeeze29 on WP 4.8.1.
