• With update to Version 2.0 there is no more function, this free Version is only a demo for the paid version for 14.95$ per month! To say it again: This free Version HAS NO FUNCTION! With update to 2.0 you LOST the functions the plugin had in the 1.x-release!

And really, hu-manity.com? Who are you? On your Website there is no imprint. You want me to pay 180$ a year for somebody who don’t tell me who he is?

Free version is not a demo. Is normally functioning release. You just left in the Pending state, between creating an account and the payment.
If you remove the app ID and secret Key from configuration it will work normally.

I have your plugin on 8 different sites and it is not true what your saying.

Ok, and let’s assume you are saying the truth:
    1 – I update to 2.0
2 – the Plugin automatically generates an ID and secret key
3 – the Plugin is automatically in pending state and has no function
    and by the way:
4 – deleting the id and secret key when i hit save, after reload the id and secret key ist still there, so i can’t leave the pending state.
5 – Your plugin is still useless

And why do you not tell who you are? There is still no imprint on your website. I don’t know to whom i should pay 180 Bucks a year

    Hi again,

This is not how it should work or works in our tests sites – it’s not our goal to to force anyone to pay to use the plugin.

My suggestion is: 1) please downgrade to previous version of the plugin or 2) wait one or two days for the bugfix release we’re working on intensively.

Since version 2.0 Cookie Notice & Cookie Compliance is a joined initiative of dFactory, a WP development studio (original developer of the plugin) and Hu-manity.co, a data privacy company.

Ok, your suggestion is to wait for your bugfix. But what i did is I switched on all the sites of my clients to another plugin and all is fine. In Europe we can’t ‘wait’, GDPR is essential for every site.

Your imprint is saying that you are dFactory and Hu-manity.co? In my point of view an imprint is something like your Name, Street, Town, Phone and so on. You still are not telling us who you are. 180 Bucks a year for someone who still is not saying who he is, no, i never will do this.
