Warning msg after installing themes!!!

  • Hi everyone…. every time I install a theme on WP these messages come up:

    “Warning: file(/home/tknass/public_html/hostapreneur.com/wp-content/themes/zitizen/style.css) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/tknass/public_html/hostapreneur.com/wp-includes/theme.php on line 180

    Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/tknass/public_html/hostapreneur.com/wp-includes/theme.php on line 180″

    What do they mean and do I need to fix them?

  • That theme needs to have a style.css file, or if it has one it has permissions problems and can’t be read. WordPress uses style.css as a kind of marker for the theme. It looks for that file specifically, by name. If it isn’t there you’ll get an error.
