Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), in copyright footer

The Complete error in the footer is:
“Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /data/14/1/85/15/1248015/user/1330927/htdocs/fdarbesblog/wp-content/themes/monochrome/footer.php on line 5 and defined in /data/14/1/85/15/1248015/user/1330927/htdocs/fdarbesblog/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1147”

I tried editing the wp-config.php file as suggested in “PHP Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare()”, but that resulted in the page not running at all. Any help would be appreciated.
