• I’m sorry to bother you with this as my research as shown others are having this problem. I tried to follow all the suggestions given but nothing has changed.

I continue to get the following warning message when checking SEO on my pages:
The keyword / phrase dog boarding cuenca ecuador does not appear in the page title.
The keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy, make sure the topic is clear immediately.

I had put those phrases in the proper positions, but nothing changes.

I’ve spent a couple of hours trying various fixes including checking “Force rewrite titles” and adding the code:<title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>, although I don’t know where to put it exactly. I picked about 3 likely spots and tried each one but nothing changed.

    Can you help? I’m exhausted.

  • have you saved the new draft after editting the page? – if I remember rightly, it checks the saved draft or published page/post, not the one in your browser

    Hi Efikim:

Yes I did–multiple times. I have been updating the page after each edit. I even installed W3 Total Cache plugin that someone suggested on one of the forums. But, that is not having any effect either. It is designed to purge the cache.
