Warning keeps re-appearing after closing

Really? That’s strange.

Do you have any caching plugins active? Or database caching perhaps? After closing it, a value is written to your database to ‘remember’ you closed it.

You’re not running into any other issues within WordPress? Such as saving posts, or something?

I use fast velocity minify and wp fastest cache. But I purged the cache after updating the plugin. I have no other problems, including saving posts. In fact, the notice is also appearing above the posts editor. (Plus I do not cache my wp-admin area).

@neverlands, perhaps you can use @politicske ‘s workaround temporarily?

Could you try disabling the minify and then closing the notification? Perhaps the minification is breaking something in the Ajax-call.

I did that several times. Still not working. I still cannot figure out why it is not updating the database as you said.

When you click the close button, does an error appear in the console?

No. But the notice reappears when I refresh the browser.

Please update to the latest version, I fixed the directory creation issue making the notice unnecessary. I removed it from the plugin.
