WARNING: Job restart due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes

  • Below is my log file. it seems that backup finished after a long time, even with the 3 warnings. Can someone who works with the plugin confirm that the backup went well and can you mention if there is something I can do to avoid the errors? I adjusted my ini file to allow for 60 second execution time and all limits are set to 128MB. i have version 3.06

    this is happening on all the sites that I have been using this plugin on. So it is a logical assumption that the suthors changed something in the code, likely with the latest update that is causing these errors, which wwere not there before the update.

    I would ask them kindly to go back to the old code and issue an update.

    I will be glad to help them test this new code in bata to help them address this issue.

    In the mean time does someone know where we can find a old version of the plugin so I can have some success backing up?

    Anyone confirm that reverting to an older version of the plugin fixes this issue ? I can’t get any of my sites backed up with this current version. Getting the WARNING: Job restart due to inactivity for more than 5 minutes message every time and then the job ends with no errors but also no files actually delivered to me !

    i just went back to the last stable and it aint so stable anymore. backup has been running for over 30 minutes. its time to try another plugin.

    Hello @whistlerdan yes reverting to an old plugin does work. I am currently using 2.1.17 as it is the last stable version before 3.0 came out.

    I am not going to update until all the issues have been resolved.

Dissapointingly I saw the developers of this plugin commend on another site/help forum to a pro user of their plugin that they thought it was something to do with the users host. If a simple revert to previous version is fixing the issue then it seems to prove that it has nothing to do with someones host….. I wish that they would provide some clues on this support forum.

    Hi, well as I stated in another thread. What the developers should have done is release 3.0 as a beta version and started working on all the issues reported by users. Once all the issues where fixed then release it as a stable version. So in this case this would be version 3.0 beta 6.
