Warning in the WordPress Plugins page for plugins thats no longer updated

  • Hi, would like to suggest an update to how WordPress handles plugins thats not updated anymore. Just encountered a plugin that hasn’t been updatet in a while, but there are no notification in WordPress -> Plugins on the site. But on www.remarpro.com it says its no longer updated. I get no warnings about this in the backend. Could the warning message be displayed somehow in the backend if the plugin is no longer updated? Basically dead.

    The WordFence plugin notifies you when a plugin is “abandoned”. I think the default is two years, though you can change that.
