what I meant was is that when I go to wp-admin/install.php, that warning comes up, and I can’t do anything about it. This is my second time installing WP, the first time got screwed up. my wp-config.php is fine. It’s 855kb but in my ftp it says it’s only 835kb. I thought that was weird but maybe that has something to do with it? I’ve tried replacing it, deleting then uploading again…

When you uploaded WordPress, it should have ended up with 4 folder and several files on the server.
Either the folders are empty, or when you unzipped it, it turned into one big folder with loads of files inside it.

First reason: Check all the files uploaded correctly.
Second: Delete the files and unzip it again, making sure that File Structure stays intact (it should be an option)
