Warning: Illegal offset type…etc.

  • I have no idea about code and whatnot, so I’m a little stuck with this.

    I’m getting this error message on the homepage:

    Warning: Illegal offset type in isset or empty in /homepages/30/d297316437/htdocs/wallpaperink/blog/wp-includes/post.php on line 1060

    I’ve tried Googling it, but all I’ve found is people speaking like they’re in The Matrix!

    Can anyone explain in Lehman’s terms what it is and how I get rid of it?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
