Warning getimagesize() on SSL website

Thanks for using our plugin. Our developer solved issue with getimagesize function.

In order not to wait for the update, please use the latest developers version from GitHub:

https://github.com/Fruitfulcode/Maintenance

You should replace your data directory to data from the archive. Don’t forget to unzip it. If you didn’t change anything in the source files then your configuration will be not lost.

I am receiving a similar error though an not behind ssl
Warning: getimagesize(https://handsoflifeworshipcenter.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/COG-Logo-tranparent.png): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden in /home2/mynamei1/public_html/handsoflifeworshipcenter.org/wp-content/plugins/maintenance/load/index.php on line 20

when is the update expected to be released?
Was this issue also addressed?
