We have a managed WordPress. Just off with support. They said the issues is with the plugin.
The website was just updated to a 5.4.2
We have a cURL and my SSL cert is in order.
We look forward to your feedback and support. The plugin has been very helpful up to this point.

It looks like your feed URL in the shortcode might start with ebcal://. It should either start with webcal:// or https://… so you may have accidentally omitted the “w” when pasting in the URL. Let me know if this resolves the issue or not.

    Good Morning
No the feed url is complete with webcal://

That’s odd… something is cutting the “w” off apparently, given those error messages.

At any rate, webcal:// is not really the protocol the plugin needs. Can you try changing it to https:// (leave the rest after it the same) and let me know if that helps?

We did try the https:// and it did not work so I went back to the webcal
This is part of what it looks like now…

Thanks… and just to clarify, the smart quote I’m seeing there was auto-corrected by the forum here, correct? (Smart quotes in the actual shortcode will mess things up.)

    Hello,
Yes it auto corrected in the forum that is not what is in the short code of the wordpress site.

@room34 have not resolved this issue yet. what are your thoughts why this is not working?

I have not been able to get anywhere troubleshooting this with the information I have available to me here, unfortunately. Have you tried testing for a plugin conflict (turning off all other plugins one-by-one to see if that resolves the issue)? If you’re able to identify specific plugin(s) that affect whether or not this problem occurs, I would like to know what they are so I can do some additional testing in that context. Thanks.

OK. I can… and I am interested in the premium offer you have – $29 and $99 lifetime.
If I upgrade to one of these do you think this could help?

It might help. The pro version has some diagnostic tools the free version doesn’t have, and just having the calendar’s settings saved so the shortcode is just an ID number instead of all of the parameters might also make a difference.

If you buy a license and we can’t get it to work, I’ll refund the license fee. (But we’ll need to continue this support discussion over email; we’re not allowed to provide support for paid plugins in these forums.)

    Got it. Thank you.
