Hi. I’m pretty much a novice at this, but I appear to be locked out of my WPadmin and always receive an Warning and a Fatal Error message. This started when I logged in today. I completed plugin updates and then went to go review a comment. Immediately the error message came up.

I received an email at the same time from Wordfence, which noted the technical error. It gave me the link for recovery mode, but I still get the error page.

    Please help!

Content of the error message is as follows:

Warning: require_once(/home4/axeamptn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/lite/includes/admin/wp-site-health.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home4/axeamptn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/lite/includes/load.php on line 49

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home4/axeamptn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/lite/includes/admin/wp-site-health.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/php56/lib/php’) in /home4/axeamptn/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/lite/includes/load.php on line 49

The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Your google-analytics-for-wordpress plugin seems to be the error.

Access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and google-analytics-for-wordpress plugin.

What do I do one I locate the plugin?

Get rid of the problem plugin. Isn’t that what you want?

Also, let the plugin’s developers know about the issue so they can investigate and take action as appropriate.
