Whenever I run BackWPup on my site I get this error and the backup takes forever to run. How can I resolve it please?

please to go to BackWPUp -> Settings -> Job tab -> Reduce server load and choose maximum and then try again. I hope that it could help ^^

Thanks for your suggestion. Unfortunately it did not help. I have decided to try another plugin and hope that will solve the problem.

I will report back accordingly once I have installed and run it, hopefully successfully.

    Hi @duongcuong96
I’m still having problems even with the new plugin. My next step is to disable all plugins and then reinstall one by one to see if any are causing the problem with BackWPup.

Any other suggestions would be welcome. I can backup via FTP or via my host so it’s not super critical, but I prefer to have scheduled backups run automatically.

    Hello @choicesnz
yes, that because it is the server issue(for more information, please take a look here for more information ), which some times got fixed by the workaround trick I asked you, but usually you should contact the hoster, and tell them about that warning since it returned from your server database ^^

@duongcuong96 Thanks. I did speak to my hosting company who did make some adjustments but concluded it was the plugin. Also my shared hosting does not allow certain adjustments. Since I am using the free version of BackWPup the only support option is via this forum.

so I’m going to close the issue here since it not related to BackWPUp anymore, it’s more like a server issue since you already tried with other backup plugins ^^
