For now, you may want to disabling public display of PHP errors in your PHP configuration or add a location to your events, even if the location is a dummy. This appears to happen because I’m attempting to modify the location object but it doesn’t exist…

We are having the same problem. If you have not completed the update can you please tell me how to turn off the PHP error on the public website.
