Lots of warnings – woocommerce plugins error

Hi,
I keep getting messages such as:
Warning: “continue” targeting switch is equivalent to “break”. and:

I found a similar problem in this forum with the message, that the person troubled, would have to upgrade to a Pro version to get help.. So this can only be solved if I upgrade and can I be sure that the problem will be solved in a upgraded version? Its not that I do not wish to support you by upgrading, Im just on a very low budget at the moment… Hope that changes soon! ??

I read somewhere that the problem was due to some necessary updates and until further it could be fixed by changing curly brackets to square once, would that be a temporary solution? And does it cover all issues?
