I’m getting the above error printing at the top of every page when Connections is activated. It prints two errors at the top of the page (see link):

Warning: array_merge(): Argument #2 is not an array in /home/thebspso/public_html/wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/Sitemaps/Sitemaps.php on line 142

Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /home/thebspso/public_html/wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/Sitemaps/Sitemaps.php on line 146

    Grateful for your help.

Sorry, solved the problem myself: After a WP update I just needed to deactive, clear page caches, activate, clear page caches — problem solved.

Got the same error but unfortunately deactivating, flushing the cache and activating again didn’t help. Still got the exact same error. Is there anything else I can do which might fix it?

Please navigate to the Connections Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab. Make no changes, click the save button. Now flush your page cache.

    Does that help?

    Yes, thank you!!!

I had the same error on another site. Appreciate your support!!!

    Thanks, Tim

Thanks @shazahm1hotmailcom it worked and the error is gone! I appreciate your help, thanks!

Happy to help. Apologies for the trouble! The next update will include an additional check, even though it should not technically be necessary because the value should always be an array. There must be some scenario that this is not happening.
