Presumably you migrated the site from one server to another? (Or development to live).
You need to click on the ‘expert options’ link down the bottom of UpdraftPlus’s settings, and change the backup folder path to one within the list of allowed paths shown in the warning above.
David
Hey David,
Thanks for quick reply…
Yes I did but ages ago and long before I installed Updraft…I clicked on expert settings – I think when you say change backup folder path you mean the server ftp details? Im using dropbox for my backup.
I tried inputting all the ftp details into ftp server, login and password. For remote path I added /public_html/wp-content/updraft and made sure there was an updraft folder in wp-content. The test FTP login button doesnt seem to workStill not working so guess Im doing something wrong?
Thanks a lot for your help…I just discovered Updraft Plus and have now installed across several sites…will be purchasing some premium extensions soon!
Thanks again,
CharlieHi,
No, that’s not the bit I meant. When you click on expert settings, some new settings should appear. Your present setting is:
/home/content/71/7678971/html/Yummymummy/wp-content/updraft
So look for where that appears.
David
Im sorry but nothing new appears when I click on expert settings? Should these new settings appear underneath the button?
The page reloads and i think the various input fields for the third party cloud services all appear, but nothing else new shows and nothing with that setting?
eeeek?
That almost certainly means that there’s a jQuery conflict on your page, caused by another plugin not leveraging jQuery properly, and interfering with UpdraftPlus.
If you were willing to email me your WP admin login ([email protected]) then I’d like to investigate, because I had a report of someone with this issue before, but since I couldn’t reproduce it, it was tricky to think of a way to avoid it.
David
Hey- thanks for sure- Ill send through the logins now
Please let me know you have received them.
Appreciate you taking a look,
CharlieThis is fixed now.
Because you have PHP on your server to dump all notices to the screen, some of the output got dumped inside some of the JavaScript, which then broke it. You shouldn’t have notices sent to the browser on a production site. But in any case, I’ve also adapted UpdraftPlus to suppress notices at the sensitive point, so nobody else should see this particular problem in future.
David
Splendid.
Many thanks & Much obliged – the most responsive and efficient plugin developer ever ??Thank you!

The log says:
> Backup contains: Database only (files were not part of this particular schedule)
That’s why there are no files in it.
It also says:
> An email has been scheduled for this job, because we are in debug mode
That’s why you get lots of emails.
Same thing is happening here as the other site in my other ticket…it tells me I have 6 backups available (when I confirmed keep 3)
when I try click on any of the download buttons the file size is 0kb.This one says unsuccessful….

Hi fidgit,
Since you’re using UpdraftPlus on multiple sites, can I push you towards UpdraftPlus Premium? https://updraftplus.com/shop/ . I have to limit the time I spend on free support.
David
Hey David…I said I would be interested to purchase premium but right now this isnt working on 2, possibly 3, of my sites…
