Just did my first install this afternoon — via a hoster interface which provides automatic installation (so hopefully there is little to none that I can muck up myself!). Was just doing some setup and noticed that on the right side of the site page where categories, links, etc. are/would be listed that I’m seeing the following:
“Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/drdan01/public_html/wordpress/wp-includes/template-functions-category.php on line 304”
As I said, I just did an auto install…and the only thing that I’ve done is to turn- on a couple of Plug-ins (Search Hilite and MarkDown).
Any clue what/why the above is there? At this point I can easily wipe the install and start over unless this is an obvious “duh” that someone knows how to fix.
    Thanks!
    Dan

You need at least 1 post in any category and the error should go away! ??

Well dang…that’s an easy fix. Hadn’t thought about it as all I was doing was trying to see if I liked WordPress. And come to think of it, that’s probably why it installs with a post there…which I deleted. My bad. ??
    Thanks!
