    Hello!

I recently just updated my companies website, which hasn′t been updated in a long time, and now it shows error, both visible on the page and within the admin page. I can′t change to the new theme neither and the page is very slow. Please help!

  • Hi There!

My recommendation would be as follows:

    1. Roll back your site to the point in time prior to your updates.
    2. Deactive/delete any plugins that you no longer use
    3. Update your WordPress core to the latest version
    4. Update your theme and plugins one by one, checking your site, and creating a restore point between each update. This will help you isolate which plugin is potentially causing the error.
    5. Setting plugins and WordPress to auto-update for future updates

I hope this helps you isolate any issues and resolve the problem.

    Good luck out there!

    Thanks for your answer!

Update: When deactivating the plugins I realized the warnings were from a specific plugin, which I kept deactivated to solve the problem with the warnings. There is another problem though, where the down below code is shown all over the web page. How do I make it go away?

Deprecated: wp_make_content_images_responsive is deprecated since version 5.5.0! Use wp_filter_content_tags() instead. in /home/stunsenergi/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4861

    Hi!

    Update: Solved.

I updated the PHP and talked to my web host and they removed that warnings are shown on the front end.

    Thanks!

That is wonderful news! I’m so glad you were able to work toward a resolution.

    Be we11!
