Warning about the Pro Version who try to buy.

  • Have been really sad since purchased this plugin, after purchased, I found only one problem, and never been resolved…

    The day I purchased the plugin, after I installed and found event categories using blog’s categories, then asked for refund, cuz, it’s not what i wanted (somehow, it’s not right for such a plugin which has its own post_type ) , but their support said wait and see it will update soon… and then came back to their website a couple of times, but their plugins on the website don’t have any information about the plugin’s version to tell when they have been updated!!!!! WOW! WOW! WOW! So i tried to download again by looking through the files… after i downloaded 3 or 4 times in last 3 months it’s never been really updated, and one more time of “WOW!WOW!WOW!” I am not allowed to download it any more! and they told me if i want the update information, i needed to activate the plugin to receive the update notification, and I did activate, but where’s the notification? meh….

    At the first glance, i did love the plugin, but, a plugin like theirs using blog’s category is just not right… and they just don’t want to correct this… it’s never gotten resolved, even if they now have updated with function of having its own category taxonomy …. (i don’t kown, cuz i have been blocked to download it any more) …. i don’t know in the future if their team still care about the plugin for their customers who have purchased with them… so sad… ; (

    We’ve answered your questions many times via email, etc.
    You are not blocked from downloading.
    You will not get a update notification if you have the most recent version.

    Once again…

    For both the free and pro versions, you can specify a custom category by creating a category and assigning children to it.
    Then all you have to do is open this file:
    buddypress-simple-events\templates\members\single\profile-events-create.php
    and change this field value
    'child_of' => 0,
    to use that parent ID, for example:
    'child_of' => 123,
    or even
    'child_of' => get_cat_ID( 'Events' ),

    thank you for response, and I just logged in my account on your website, i still couldn’t download it…

    I got the error message of:
    “Sorry but you have hit your download limit for this file.”
